Just finished Saints Row 2

I played about five minutes of the original Saints Row and was on to better things, I was also a Grand Theft Auto snob. So when Saints Row 2 came out and recieved good reviews again and a lot of positive internet and podcast chatter...I'm looking at you CheapyD (game of the year. really?). I had to give it a fair shot this time and see what everyone was giddy about. Saying it was like the earlier GTA's and just being more fun than the last two GTA games. That is a big negative ghost rider, there is a lot of fun to be had with Saints Row 2. Here comes the big BUT...in the later missions for each gang that you are trying to take down they get extremely difficult with the AI getting ramping up to ridiculous levels. You will do these missions over and over again if you want to see the main story. It does have check points to help but these are just as frustrating as some of the GTA missions,

I see what people were saying about the variety of missions and I did like making money in an open world like Vice City did back in the day. SR2 is a lot of fun any time you have poop missions it's all good. It is really stingy with achievements for the XBOX360, I am glad I got the nut shot achievement. GTA IV is hands down the better game in my book but SR2 is no slouch!

I have also been playing Splosion Man and having a good time with that in small bite size chunks, even if I have taken the way of the coward a couple to many times ;)
