Batman Arkham Asylum is the best game I've played this year....so far. Obviously there is still a shit ton of good games to come out this year, well at least I hope there good.
I have to give Rocksteady the developers of the game a tremendous amount of love for creating such a great atmosphere and fun game to play. Love is exactly what they put into this game, just like Harmonix with the Beatles Rock Band which is also a very good game in genre that is tiring quickly!
Back to Rocksteady and Batman, everything in this game has such detail and depth that you don't see as often as we would like to in video games. More games should have this level of thought and care spent on every aspect of the game to make it a complete experience for the player. I know people have said this already but it really is this years "Bioshock", another labor of love from Mr. Levine and his team. Batman also has a ton of extra shit to sink some time on....fun times. Also the voice work is awesome...nuff said!
Go buy it, rent it, whatever but play the shit out it!
