MGS4...finished & arcade games galore.

Well I finally did it and finished Metal Gear Solid 4, what an awesome game.  I loved it...  the cut scenes were great (most of them...the wedding, come on) the game play awesome for a Metal Gear game.  I can see my self going back and trying different ways to beat certain areas ..plus their really is not much out on the PS3 for first party.  Kojima is brilliant as usual, great story to go along with some pretty sweet & beautiful bosses, literally.  Any time you combine animals and super models usually bad things happen but Kojima knows how to combine crazy shit and make it work some how.  The same goes for how he wrapped up the Metal Series as far as Snake goes, that is no easy task that he created for himself.  Anyways, go play it and enjoy yourself with one of the best games in recent years!

Finishing MGS4 a couple of weeks ago, I have also been playing some Geometry Wars 2.  Don't play this game if you are color blind...wait it might just blind you from all the crazy shit on the screen at one time.  The different modes are a great add on from the first title, the  leader boards are pretty sweet.  I have no idea how I will ever catch Ludwig from Joystiq....actually  I won't he is some kind of old school super gamer.  I also tried the Braid demo and it seems pretty cool, I have not taken the plunge and bought it yet...maybe down the road.  I did go and buy Bionic Commando since I never played the original and know I know why, or maybe I am getting to old for this shit.  I heard it was hard, which it is, but come on.  Maybe it is just hard to for me to do the retro thing compared to todays controls on most games.  I also can see how it was awesome for back in the day and this version is also but just not for me.
